Sash Window Conservation based in Kent, England, has been trading for over 20 years. Managing Director Neil Berkeley felt strongly that he wanted the company to offer a comprehensive, end to end partnership for Architects and Main Contractors who required solutions to problems with Heritage windows.
At Sash our intention is that the aesthetics and architectural integrity of a building should be preserved, but at the same time enabling the windows to meet the ever increasing demands of modern standards.
Together with our Specialist team of highly skilled Joiners, site staff, technical support and employed installation technicians, the business has gone from strength to strength. We pride ourselves in offering Main Contractors & Architects/Specifiers trusted advice, a free project walk through survey and completed tender/bills of quantity pricing for projects, in short the Sash team remains with the project for it's entirety.
A further service offered is a comprehensive in-depth survey which can include opinions, photographs, and diagrams of required repairs.
Why choose Sash Window Conservation for your Heritage Windows?
Integrity, Experience, Energy efficiency Draught proofing, U Values, G values, & Cleaning Solutions for Heritage Windows with ISO 9001 Quality.
We offer two routes of work; Comprehensive refurbishment & In-House manufacture, but both ensuring end to end control of finished product from inception to installation sign off, all by our own specialist and highly skilled team.
Our Philosophy is to respect our past and embrace the future.
We pride ourselves on understanding the individual project by working closely with the Main Contractors and Architects to ensure the integrity/aesthetics of an Historic Building adopting Traditional methods of working.
We are now living in the Modern Age and requirements on windows are changing. However, this doesn’t mean the attention to Listed and Conservation Area buildings is lost. It is quite the opposite, by combining both Historic and Modern techniques we can achieve specified requirements and on occasions recommend an alternative solution.
Green Efficiency is priority, windows are a prime example where this is lost. A simple solution by installing our effective Draught Proofing, we can stop those rattles and dirt ingress but also importantly reducing the heat loss making the building more efficient. It doesn’t stop there, we are an Historic Window Company, so we also refurbish the windows using Timber-Care repairs (Approved by English Heritage) and re-glazing glass to help with U-Values and dB Ratings.
We also manufacture New Sashes/Casements including Easy Clean and Doors in-house.
